Weather
Trudy has her weather station online so that anyone can enjoy the current weather at our house. Thrill to the excitement of the barometer. Watch the changing temperature, is it going up or down? Only you can tell. The only thing better than viewing the weather on the internet, is not viewing the weather on the internet.
In addition, there are the historical graphs and log files which should be more information than any non stalker would ever want about the weather at our house.

All of the weather data is being generated from wview running on nslu2 device which is running SlugOS. The cable modem, router, weather station, and nslu2 combined use around 8 watts of electricity. Take that Al Gore!
jc - got on your weather station again to get a temp & wind speed. It’s certainly breezy - I guess I’ll ride over Bingham hill first so the wind will blow me up the north dam hill.
